GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Audiovisual Equipment
| 1. |
Overhead projection (projection of transparencies) - If using transparencies, please inform the technician in the Speakers' Ready Room at least 30 minutes before the start of your session.

If you require facilities for slide projection, please inform the organisers beforehand.
|
| 3. |
If using a Powerpoint (or any other computer) presentation, please note you need to bring it on a floppy disk (3.5 "/1.44 MB ), on a CD (no ZIP disk) or on a memory stick and make sure that it is loaded on the congress' computer in the same hall as your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session (during breaks). Presumably, there will be a centralised presentation management available; we will inform you about recent technical information on our webpage (https://eapcnet.org/Aachen2005/poster/index.html). However, you may supply your own laptop computer as a back-up.

Speakers using a Macintosh laptop computer are required to see our webpage for details; we will provide detailed technical information for Macintosh users on our webpage soon

If using video, please ensure that it is VHS multi-system format. Please check it in the same hall as your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session (during breaks).

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS
| Dimensions |
Dimensions of the poster boards: 84 cm (width) x 118 cm (hight) (Standard ISO/DIN A0).
|
| Lay-Out |
Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract. Please state authors and title in bold lettering, easily readable. The text and illustrations should be bold enough to read from a distance of two meters (six feet).

| Mounting |
Tacks and technical equipment will be available for the hanging of posters.
Posters will be changed daily on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Poster mounting: 08:00 - 08:30 on the day of your presentation. Dismantling at 18:00.
Please refer to the Congress' Final Program for the poster board number assigned to you. Please use the board with the same number.

| Presentation |
The Authors of posters are requested to be present at their posters during both breaks.
|
| Poster Award |
3 posters will be selected for presentation in the Poster Highlight during the Closing Session (Auditorium Sunday, 6th 12,45-13,15) The awards for the three authors will be free registration to the 4th EAPC Research Forum to be held in Venice, Italy, 26 - 28 May, 2006.
