Mission Statement

I have been actively implicated in the management of pain in children for more than 15 years. These children presented cancer, AIDS, or other pathologies such as neuromuscular diseases, cystic fibrosis, gastrointestinal problems….This has lead me to take care of children in the palliative setting.

I would like to improve and help with the developpement of paediatric palliative care in my country but also in the other European countries. I would like to create a network of people interested in this field, and continue the work of the EAPC paediatric taskforce.
The accessibility of paediatric patients to all the pharmaceutical products is also one of my concerns.

I am convinced that working together with the other European countries can really help each country in developing palliative care services for children and a standard of education for all.

I had the honour for being part of the Scientific Committee for the EAPC Budapest Congress and to appreciate the work of this EAPC group and with the Board.
