Mission Statement

As the chair of the Local Organizing Committee of the 10th Congress of the EAPC in Budapest in 2007, I would like to show you the creativity and diversity in palliative care that exists across the whole of Western, Central and Eastern Europe. One of my aims is to enhance the participation of Eastern European specialists in the Congress.

With my project in the EAPC, the Central and Eastern European and Former Soviet Union Palliative Care Online Newsletter, edited in English and Russian languages, we introduce palliative care activities of the region and also increase the influence of the EAPC.
