Workshop WS 01 - Budapest Committments

Dear all,

We are contacting you regarding the Budapest Commitments for palliative care development that you have submitted to the EAPC.

We are setting up a "Budapest Commitment Workshop" at the EAPC Congress in Vienna and we hope that you and other colleagues from your organisation will have the opportunity to participate! The different Commitments and future development will be presented and discussed. The scheduled time for the workshop is Thursday, 7 May 2009, 13.00 - 16.30 (exact ending time is still preliminary).

Here you can download the workshop programme as PDF

The format of the workshop is not yet decided in detail. In preparing for the workshop you are all invited to submit a short summary of your achievements so far. The summary should be in the format of maximum one page (A4, 2 500 characters blanks included, Times, spacing 1.5). The summaries will be published on the EAPC website and hopefully also in a printed version.

We will need the projects summaries no later than March 20, 2009. Please submit to .

Unfortunately the Congress budget does not allow for any reductions of registration fees or any support for travel or accommodation costs in relation to this workshop. It is our sincere hope that you will attend the Congress and the workshop anyway!

Please let us know if you and hopefully several others from your group will be able to represent your organisation at the workshop!

With kindest regards

Carl Johan Fürst and Lukas Radbruch
