CAT - City Airport Train
The quickest and most comfortable way of reaching the city centre of Vienna is the CAT - City Airport Train. It takes only 16 minutes from Vienna International Airport to the City Air Terminal, which is located about 10 minutes walk from the Stephansdom directly in the city centre. The train departs every 30 minutes and costs 16 Euro roundtrip.
From the City Terminal you can continue easily to your hotel by tram, underground, bus or taxi.

S-Bahn
The most economic way to reach the City of Vienna is travelling by suburban train - line S 7. The train departs every 30 minutes and arrives at the train station "Wien Mitte" within 27 minutes.
The current ticket price amounts up to EUR 4,40 which is subject to change until the congress in 2009. The ticket also entitles you to use the whole public transport system in the city centre to reach your hotel from the train station "Wien Mitte". Tickets can be bought at the train platform. From the airport to the center of Vienna , you should board the trains with signs for "Wien Mitte," "Wien Nord" or "Floridsdorf."
Vienna Airport Line
This bus departs every 30 minutes from the airport to the city center "Schwedenplatz" or the train stations "Südbahnhof" and "Westbahnhof". The ride takes about 20 minutes roundtrip and costs 11 Euro per person.

Taxi
The most convenient way for a transfer from the airport to the hotel is the taxi. There are always several vehicles waiting directly in front of the airport building. The price for the journey to the city centre should not exceed EUR 40,00 and will take around 20 minutes.
