CEPHALON SATELLITE WORKSHOP

Approaches to the Management of Breakthrough Pain
An Interactive Case Study Workshop

Through the use of case studies, this workshop aims to generate informal interactive group discussions on the appropriate management of breakthrough pain (BTP) in cancer patients.
Although many people with chronic cancer-related pain experience the intermittent yet debilitating flares that characterise BTP, the condition remains underdiagnosed and frequently inappropriately managed.
The workshop introduces four case studies with the goal through interactive discussion of identifying the most appropriate treatment options.
The workshop will be limited to 50 attendees. If you would like to register for the workshop, look for the invitation in your delegate bag or go to the Cephalon exhibition stand.
