Access to Care for All, highlighting that millions of people who desperately need care at the end of life aren't getting it, is the theme of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day 2006.

This year’s unifying activities will be walking, poetry and the arts. Many different types of events are anticipated, including sponsored walks, exhibitions, competitions, rallies, poetry readings, conferences and street parties.
