Report 5th Research Forum of the EAPC Trondheim, 29 - 31 May 2008
Some numbers
A faculty of 66 experts contributed to the success of the scientific programme as Chairs, speakers and poster guides.
531 abstracts had been submitted. All abstracts were be reviewed by three independent reviewers. The review process was blind. Only country and profession of the first author were be disclosed. The scientific committee then made the final decisions and selected abstracts for oral and poster presentations. A total of 446 abstracts were presented, 69 Abstracts were with drawn and 16 were rejected.

The 4 best abstracts were presented as free communications in plenary.
96 oral presentations were delivered in the new research data sessions which were managed by the chairs to dedicate time to both present and discuss the papers in a productive spirit.
346 posters were presented in the dedicated poster sessions.
The abstracts were classified in abstract categories (see table 1)
